but it started sinking downwards, and got to about 70 frames long, so I gave up. I'll probably carry on trying in a bit.

# ah, hold down the shift key while you move a layer to keep it at the same level
you can just make a two frame anim with the start and end points, then click the tween button on the anim window (the 4 circle thing) and it'll position the layers for the inbetween frames
