The way I started this is with a sequence of cyclic gradients that I started with the turquoise colour.
It is difficult to change the turquise further down th process.
Also I have extremely bad taste

real tomatoes come in all shades, of course, but the standard imagined is typically a darker red. crappy tinned tomnato soup is this orangey-red, though, so maybe it's the ghost of some fat nazi campbell dictating to the humans.
