now that providers have cottoned on to how much bandwidth people use if given free reign.
mind you, that being said, there is one /boarder out in S. Africa who has to pay an
horrendous amount per month for b/band and only gets around 1GB/month bandwidth for it,
so it's really all down to being considerate

that's painful.
I used to have a cap of 30gb down, 15GBdown up - but that ended 2 years ago.
No limits for me anymore.
In any case, I don't think I could live with 56k(I still remember getting porn from the interweb as a kid, and just waiting for the pics to load bit, by bit, by bit.)

tis an easy limit to cross when you're not paying attention
I used to be able to buy 5 gb "packs" of extra download capacity whenever I went over. Meh.

I had no idea there were still people out there putting up with 56k

make pointlessly massive pictures annoying.
The 50k and 250k rule isn't exactly Chinese water torture. And if you're precious about your artwork just post a thumbnail to a massive version.
