you'be be better off with 3-in-1WD-40 is a water displacer and corrosive protector, as shuch it's lubricating ability while being good, isn't really what you need.

Actually, I'd probably be better with 15/40.Will perform well once heat has been built up through friction, and not cause to much resistance on the opening strokes.
