
They simply crawl the web with a robot script that looks for keywords. They don't even usually check the files that get flagged; they tend to just send an email notice automatically.

There are loads on the list without Prince in the name and I believe it said they have an account here as "Web Sheriff"!

They used to just crawl. Perhaps they specifically monitor 'subversive' websites:
