Not that it is one night of course. I mean, there's all the people who don't have Christmas for a start. Then there's all the countries that have their Santa visit on 6th December, then there's Russia. They have their Christmas on the 7th January, so he really doesn't have to visit ALL the children in the world in 24 hours after all.

i have to correct you there.
in holland and belgium (along with some other countries) we have sinterklaas, wich is basically the legend that inspired santa claus. we also get presents on christmasday, so it's a win-win situation.
