and it just will not download. It won't tell me why apart from 'An error occurred when connecting to the update server'.

I checked the firewall (Zone Alarm) all Ok there.

I have never had problems before and I was hoping the problem was on their side not mine.

I have the free version.

My PC is extremely well-protected and is free from spyware.

I always tell people to switch the PC off, then back on again.
It usually does the trick.

I use AVG too - never had any problems with it - although it does sometimes interfere with the boot sequence and prevent some of my tray icons showing properly.
