I was going to buy a mighty mouse
Then after using one for a bit I realised that they are shite. The wheely thing breaks a lot and what's worse is if you wish to hold down the button and drag something for more than your mousemat's worth, you can't get your fingers under it to lift it while holding down a button.
Bad design.

I love Apple's official advice on cleaning it
Apparently you're supposed to clean the wheel using a damp cloth, but under no circumstances must the mighty mouse be exposed to moisture.

regular PC mouse on a mac?
most if not all wired ones do, most bluetooth ones do, just be wary of some wireless RF mice (my Logitech mouse kernel panic attacked my ibook)

With a Mac?
Yeah it's fine, I do it all the time. The right button even defaults to using the ctrl+click function.
