I didn't know about that version. But I've just finished spending my Amazon voucher on a Seasick Steve CD. I have the Welles version downloaded somewhere anyway.

that he used tripods in the stories because he "forgot" about Wells' book and the radio and film versions which followed.
I'm not entirely convinced, but my book Rendezvous with Karma is coming along nicely.
