# got given an iPod nano last year
spent more time playing solitaire on it than music!

iTunes is a pile of shite, you can't just drag'n'drop mp3s onto iPods because of it's database crap - I've been using an iRiver H140 for years, brilliant little player

# yes you can
you just have to set it up not to automatically synchronise. I've taken music from other peoples' iTunes before by taking my iPod over to their house and dragging and dropping files... or just enabling it for hard disk use and holding the mp3 files on it until I get home, which works perfectly.

# it was ment as in "have you tried the Zune" you moose !
not "what the hell is a zen he must mean zune"

after working with mac server i hate anything mac .. die mac server ! die , plus people think an mp3 player is an ipod not an ipod is an mp3 player and this makes me mad /rant

# hmm
maybe I'll try and find it and see if I can get it under my control

# But you need iTunes
As opposed to dragging and dropping in hard disk use mode and then being able to play the songs.
