Her dramatic weight loss is well documented. Such a weight loss often results in stretch marks like that. I've seen them on girls in their 20s before.

As for her singing- there's a video out there of her performing with Charlotte Church in a duet of "Beat It". Go look for it- I'll let the performance speak for itself.

had you noticed the similarities between her and Nina Simone you might have been on the right track. Had you said Billie Holiday I'd have given you my views that she is practically the same woman re-incarnated.
You will get no argument from me that she is a filthy mess of a human being, but that's what addiction does to you. The more people that deride and ridicule addicts then the less addicts that will recover and so end up in a box.

I appreciate your opinion, but I have to disagree with you. She is, in my opinion, a long way from being "the best singer in the world since and even before Fitzgerald". That is a very blinkered view. Dont get me wrong, she has a talent, and an amazing one at that, but she is far from the best at anything!

The fact of the matter is that she had/s an amazing talent and it is a tragedy that she has let it go, if she has. But in my opinion, she is nowhere even close to the greats mentioned before.
