It has a fantastic keyboard melody, which kinda sucks, but I love it.I'm not too familiar with the Mars Volta, would you recommend it to an alterativehead? Personally, I cannot get enough of Ocrilim - Annwn at the moment.

As far as alternativity goes, TMV are waay out thereIt's a bit maximalistic music: if there's room for one more note, they put in four or five ;)
