# that is beautiful.
Is that plane supposed to look like a duck?

# Maybe,
Maybe not.

# It's a shark nose plane
aparently, found it while searching for sharks in Google!!!
{Most people find old boots or shopping trollys while fishing. I found a plane :) }

# F-5 Tiger innit?
great pic too

# The F-5 is great
Always used as a MiG in films for some reason. Probably different in appearance to a mig as you can get.

# Don't think its an F-5
the air intakes are square, the F-5's are rounded. Looks like a Chinese copy of a MiG to me - Shenyang F-8, maybe?

# yeah
always thought that was shit. they were used in topgun as the migs, and supposedly carrying exocets. which only has a few things wrong with it....
the exocet is french, not russian
a plane of such spindly frame would not carry an exocet (especially not on the fookin wingtips)
they were actually carrying sidewinders. which arent russian either.

# Not a bad as f/a-18s in more recent films
Magic fuel tanks that turn into missiles anyone?
I could forgive the sidewinders cos the russian IR AAM is basically a sidewinder copy.

# twue, twue, but still silly.
which film used hornets like?
(, Tue 18 Feb 2003, 16:45, archived)
# Godzilla
And The Rock. And a few others I think. Godzilla is especially bad using Harpoon missiles to blow up a building.
