# I never even made house prefect :(
my sister was head girl and made sgt. in CCF.

# It was awesome,
I got to regularly go into the staff room and make myself a brew and help myself to biccies whenever I wanted to.

# I was one of the kids who was good friends with the head and the teachers
but obviously could never be a prefect for two main reasons 1. My school still does twice termly Parade ceremonies and I could march at all when the prefects led their houses, and 2. mostly along the lines of "ah, yes... young Sellick... good lad but not really the right chap. might give the first form boys funny ideas"

# hahaha, can't say I was any better to be honest.
On April fools day the Head Girl and I sent headed letters to some of the more 'disliked' teachers telling them they were being 'made redundant' at the end of term.

# good lord... that was a tad cruel!
what was the reaction?

# 2 of them swallowed it, and one even went into floods of tears
still, it all ended happily :)

# i knew it
go polish your prefect badge.

although that said, i never bunked off school 'til i hit the sixth form, i loved school, i was a bloody rubbish student, the teachers all liked me.
mark is a happy go lucky boy and always a joy to have in the classroom, if only he'd put a little more effort into his work and spent less time chatting he'd do very well. pretty much every report i ever got was a variation on that. still no change.

# hehehe, I had a few spells of illness while at school, but they still gave me 100% overall attendance in 5 years cos I used to crack a few jokes in the staff room.
Nicest thing ever said about me on a school report came from our R.E. teacher, who commented:
'A natural student who is objective and sympathetic in his work. If all were as he there would be no Gulf War'

/This is Gulf War I btw. A little odd to be putting something liek that on a school report, but it's always struck me as something nice.

# R.E teachers were the best
especially ours who was a vicar himself. I shall remember him taking a sex education session with us and seeing his charmingly earnest face try to work itself around the words "mutual masturbation"

# We've got a scary RE teacher at the moment.
Who I don't think likes me as I refused to go to a RE talk last year.

She's young but has scary eyes.

Our RE teacher in year 7/8 was the best.

She loved LoTR and had Gandalf and Legolas on a table =)

One time she brought in the one ring and let us all try it on.

# that is nice
mine were always lovely just not very good on the grades, how i ended up in the "a" stream i'll never know, in those days we still had streaming, mostly so the hard kids knew where to find all of the swots in one place, naturally i was good mates with all of the nutters too so i never got a beating.

# best report I ever had was in Religious Studies when I was 16
"Tom is an engaging student who is always ready to join in intellectual debate and has many interesting opinions. If he could see his way clear to occasionally stop talking and put pen to paper we might might have him pass his GCSEs yet"
(, Mon 24 Mar 2008, 17:25, archived)
# For my year 6 swimming report I got "Likely to drown"
And for my year 8 german report I got "Surprised at Cleo's results, she must be learning German in her sleep"

By the way, the back of the classroom next to the radiator is so nice and relaxing, you can't help but have a nap if you've been up all night on the computer.

# p.e
mark is very fond of standing back and letting others do most of the work, he is a very likeable lad however.
