# Bleecker St. Records, in NYC
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:14, archived)
# Did you buy any records?
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:20, archived)
# No.
It's not that great. I just like their sign.
There's a place called Bleecker Bob's, which is another record store, aways down from this'un, and they sold my dad's band's records in the '70s. :D

# That's cool.
I don't think my dad was in a band, but his friends have been in several.
The guy I mentioned, Derek Hodd (the ex-singer of Cloven Hoof) is a good friend of the family. On both sides ^_^

# Wait...
Here. My daddy quit ages ago. I've seen them play before, though. They really aren't that good. :D

# Hahahah
Derek is brilliant.
I gave Caewan his CD for Christmas.
In fact, I'll upload it for you and send you the link later.
I don't know if you'd like them :P

# Okay.
It's worth a try. ^_^

# There's two albums. One from his old band, Chain Reaction.
I found an old photo of him the other day, with my auntie.
He had really long hair, and hers was just...big.
Heheh.
Then there's his current band, Chain Lightning (not very creative, I'll admit) and he has short hair and is older. Naturally. :P

# Hahahah
I found a picture of my dad when he was my age. He had long hair and it was all wavy and pouffy, and he looked kinda gay. x]
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:38, archived)
# When my dad was my age he looked like Dan Trigg.
*shudder*
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:49, archived)
# Hahahah
that's weird. My dad looked like a mix of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

# My dad tells awful jokes.
He repeats them a lot, too, like my History teacher, and my mum.
And like The Mighty Boosh, they repeat their jokes over and over, as if you didn't get it the first time.

# The Magnolia Bakery from SATC
is on Bleecker street too. I went there two weeks ago.

# Yeah.
I've gotten cookies there, I think. ^_^

# did you try a version with a colour in the sky?
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:26, archived)
# I was tempted to, but in the original, the sky is devoid of any color.
I might try blue, just to brighten it up.
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:27, archived)
# I been there! :D
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:33, archived)
# Are you my history teacher?
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:36, archived)
# i could be!
:D
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:49, archived)
# My history teacher, Mr "Have I ever told you about the time I went to New York?" Streete
has been to New York.
He repeats it like a broken record.
Along with all his bad jokes.
He's a bit like The Mighty Boosh, they repeat their jokes over and over, as if you didn't get it the first time.
(, Sat 29 Mar 2008, 14:51, archived)
# It's pretty cool.
But it's quite small. :]
