True story: After seeing that film at the tender age of 6 I went round for days afterwards both acting and walking like the jerky stop motion skeletons. Waving imaginary swords at people, lamposts, letterboxes, hedges.... Fuck Jason and his Argonauts, I really wanted to be a stop motion skeleton.

I want HUGE UNREALISTIC MONSTERS with fucking fleets of stealth fighters and fuck the car chases, I want 18Wheeler chases with police in apc's exchanging rpg's

oh yeah, and the chick has to be hot!

Much like the flames, of all the stuff bursting into flames and I want crappy one liners from the hero "Man, that's gonna leave a mark" after throwing a bag of dynamite at the mafia-terrorist-commie-nazi's

actually I want to see this film now, it sounds fucking awesome :D

You have a very good idea of how movies should function.

The movie Shoot Em Up springs to mind - two hours of ostentatious, unbelievable, essentially plotless violence with some hammy dialogue added as an afterthought, purely as a means to PUNCTUATE THE EXPLOSIONS.
