(I make this comparison quite a lot actually. two members of a band as the driving force, when they split the technically skilled one creates mediocore drivel and the creative one goes weird)

He had the sense of humour of a dead slug, judging by those unfunny pieces of turd. Grant wrote Backwards, which was good sci-fi in the same way as Hollyoaks is Proust but which was at least amusing.

Probably because he stole half of it from earlier episodes of Red Dwarf, to be fair.
