
some of the cheeses i've seen in france and spain are just rank, sweaty and oozing. a bit of cheddar and ploughman's pickle does the job nicely.

I've managed to track down a bit of cheddar here, and there's even HP, so I've been very happy the last few months. There aren't any pies or bridies /pasties here though, which is heartbreaking.

one would have thought so, but it just doesnt seem the done thing.
When I feel like eating a pasty, the best I can managed is Salmon en croute. Which is nice, but it's still not a pasty.
