# Phil whould make a better doctor than david tennant
/hates tennant blog.

# no!
i would do teninch, but not fuckup phil.

# it's not a question of boofing the lead character
It's a matter of how terrible they are compared with Tom Baker.
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 11:41, archived)
# Or Sylvester McCoy?
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 11:42, archived)
# Sylvester McCoy is second to Tom Baker, then Eccleston
Pertwee, Hartnell, Throughton, Davidson, Colin Baker, Tennant then Paul McCann. Colin Baker suffered because of the production disputes at the time and McCann was just pisspoor in that stupid movie. Tennant is a faggy git who I find unwatchable.

# McCoy: too lame,
Eccleston: too smug,
Pertwee: too wholesome,
Hartnell: too ancient,
Colin Baker: too anxious,
Tennant: too squeaky.

Troughton was kind of cool. Davidson was alright.

# I think Hartnell is a bit different given that he was the original
and the writers never anticipated regeneration...
What about Tom Baker?
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 12:10, archived)
# I didn't mention Tom Baker
since he actually is Doctor Who, as everybody knows.

# :)

# i like it
at least the creatures look better nowadays. the stories are often darker, too.
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 11:46, archived)
# That's not really a good thing though.
The writing bounds from dark to whimsical to predicatable morality tale so often it would make your head spin if you hadn't have already sawn it off due to the dialogue.
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 11:54, archived)
# i find the change of pace quite interesting
although i must admit, if you're a fan of a particular writing style, it could be very irritating.
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 12:02, archived)
# I'm just a fan of good writing.
I watched it because it was Doctor Who and was escapism even with the massive writing flaws, but I think Catherine Tate was the massive rotting disgusting whore that broke the camel's back...or something.

It makes the writing in Star Trek seem laudable.

# i thought she'd kill it stone dead
fortunately, she hasn't tried to be funny very often.
still, how is that any different? she was never funny.

# I do as well but Tennant needs to get the sack
Can't act at all.

/hasn't seen Blackpool or the "We are loonies and we are proud" thingo.

# I havent seen any of him bar the christmas episode last year,
but I do really like him. I saw his interview on Jonathan Ross and I think he seems like a cracking bloke!
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 11:56, archived)
# eh, I just don't like to watch him ponce around on my television
might be a champ to have a beer and a pool game with though.
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 12:03, archived)
# Tom Baker thinks he's marvellous.
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 12:07, archived)
# yes but what does he think of Tennant....?
(, Tue 20 May 2008, 12:14, archived)
# Ha!
