The writing bounds from dark to whimsical to predicatable morality tale so often it would make your head spin if you hadn't have already sawn it off due to the dialogue.

I watched it because it was Doctor Who and was escapism even with the massive writing flaws, but I think Catherine Tate was the massive rotting disgusting whore that broke the camel's back...or something.
It makes the writing in Star Trek seem laudable.
