# 'Lo, you!

And how're you keeping?
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:25, archived)
# hooray
i'm ok i guess. my muse is back in italy and with her has gone my hummus though :( other than that i'm pretty solid. hopefully will find out tomorrow if i have a job or not
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:27, archived)
# Aww, damn Italy.
Shoulda gone in her suitcase, really. Is getting a job good, or bad?

# Nice food, but too hot.
Plus all Italians are mental.
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:31, archived)
# I would have thought
Italy would have nearly the same climate as England, as they're neighbors.
And yes. All the Italians I know (one) are mental. :/

# neighbours? do you have geography lessons at school? o_Q
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:34, archived)
# ...no.
Hahah.
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:39, archived)
# sure but in an interesting way. not like the spanish.
they're just mental. i'm going out to rome in august to see her. i'm going to die of heat
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:33, archived)
# I'd say Italians are mental in the way in which they are mental.
They shout and wave knives around and drive like their face, eyes and arse are on fire.

I can't speak much of the Spanish, but my second cousin's wife is Spanish and she is moderately sane and nice compared to everyone else.
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:36, archived)
# you can never escape being italian. only italians know who their second cousins are
and that may very well just be your family. we're yet to have a knife fight
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:39, archived)
# I can escape being Italian and do so on a daily basis by keeping up a mixture of whimsy and heady nonchalance.
And actually I don't know who my cousins are apparantly as I just remembered he's my first cousin, it all gets confusing due to the fact that my first cousins are all about 40 and some of their children are older than I am.

# weeeellll..... bad because it ruins my louche slacker image
good because it means i can start buying things like these www.pennangalan.co.uk/boots/FW112.php
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:32, archived)
# Ah, right. Gotta look good to the other slackers.
Hahah, those are pretty awesome. But mine are cooler. :]
See? But I took the straps off 'em.
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:34, archived)
# they're nice but why didn't you get proper DMs?
hot topic makes me so angry. totally unjustifiably. but still very angry. has mofaha ever taken you round camden?

edit: BOOTS these boots rock. 1970s US military issue :)

# That Gothic Lolita shop in Camden market has a lot to answer for.
I can't unsee the things I saw there.
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:37, archived)
# which one? Black rose?
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:38, archived)
# Christ knows, I've only been once but there was a lot of cah-razy subculture shit going down there.
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:40, archived)
# I'm vegetarian
so I don't wear leather. And they don't make fake leather DMs anymore, sadly. I really dislike Hot Topic, actually, because it's like...everyone always ends up with the same clothes as someone else. Which sucks.
I been to Camden plenty, but I haven't been in to London since before the Camden fire. There was a store that used to be there that sold awesome old school punk clothes, but after the fire it became a Goth Loli shop, oddly. :/
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:38, archived)
# Okay
I have to go outside now. See you later, all. :]
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:41, archived)
# ahhh ok then i'll let you off :) i forgot you know about clothes somewhat
my favourite veggie shoes are macbeth actually. really comfy. the thing that pisses me off with the hot topic scene (we don't have them but that whole sort of buy yourself punk thing is still here) is that its turned punk into a cliche
(, Fri 20 Jun 2008, 0:44, archived)
# Ugh.
Yeah, I know that feeling. All these kids around here claiming to be punk in their leopard print skinny jeans, and stupid slogan shirts. You're not fucking punk, are you? Just hot topic core.
