All the publicity has Tennant with Elizabeth Sladenand the rest of the gang together, despite the fact they didn't actually come face to face in the episode. I'm hanging onto that.

Let's be realistic. If someone had already taken the part of and *played* the doctor we'd know it by now.Plus the cut at the end was WAY too convenient. Don't forget the gratuitous close-ups of the hand and doctor River Song, either, she knows his regeneration so it's blatantly obvious he's staying.

The character elaborated on how she knew the doctor in this regeneration many years from nowif he dies here this not only screws over all levels of common sense it ruins the continuity made only two episodes ago.

Depends on the universe he was in.And I don't remember her saying anything about knowing him in this form. I know about her being with him at the end of the universe though.
