what bothers me is, why can we not see land beyond the sea at every beach/cliff etc in the world? What with the wolrd being flat and all I should be able to, shirly?
If I can see Proxima Centauri (which is a bit over 4 light years away I think) I damn well should be able to see New York from Wales
