# Metal
I had 2 JVC "Metal" tapes, cost £4.99 each when "ordinary" tapes were 99p.

big difference?

erm... no to be honest, there was less hiss though so I suppose that counted.

I had a proper getto blaster as well, until it got stolen :-(

# I used to buy cassettes from the local corner shop for 9p
They were made in Malaysia and I think the tape was made from old binbags with iron filings glued on. They did not stand the test of time.
