background eraser?
where is this, in the eraser i'm guessing..
edit: It's just like a regular eraser except with some kind of jitter on for me, is there some better way of using it?

it depends on how equal the background is
but changing the sensitivity helps much, and also alternating between continuous and non-continuous

Choose the 'Sampling once' icon from the toolbar
then alt+click on background colour you want to erase.
seems to work quite well.
edit: turn tolerance down first though.
