That may be true, but Untrue is a groundbreaking work of art. And is far more of the time than Elbow which is what the Mercury prize is about.

I haven't heard it
But I've loved Elbow since day one so I'm just really pleased for them to get some recognition at last, particularly as the got dropped from their label two year ago and made this album themselves
I've only heard the single and wasn't overly impressed.

I like them
and they put on a good show when you get to see them... unfortunately the Mercury Music Prize spells lonely musical death generally... so, this is it for them.
