# you think so?
:)
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:40, archived)
# In that case
congratulations on making me laugh my arse off with your Planet of the Dogs.

That ruled so much I want to save just that bit.

# I'm sure an animated gif can be forthcoming
from either of the f's you're currently talking to.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:46, archived)
# would you be so kind?
I'd like to keep that for posterity.

Okay, enough puns. I'd like it if you have it.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:49, archived)
# who made this
Planet of the Dogs? and where is it?
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:50, archived)
# allegedly it was you
and it was on Metatweening 2

the 2nd from last scene, which may have been Santexo...
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:51, archived)
# yes it was Santexo
in fact.
I'll e-mail that bit over. It is 3.76MB big though if you don't mind.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:56, archived)
# People send me email
with signatures bigger than that these days.
fools.

but yes, that's fine thanks Fnord.

# oops sorry,
I was thinking of planet of the apes, with your ape splashing down and coming out of the sea to look upwards.
It all melded together too well.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:51, archived)
# in
m3tatween, you mean?
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:53, archived)
# yes, crouchingbadger just asked me and I thought he meant
your bit.

# Thank you for my piccy gallery
I've got it functional here www.fnord.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/banana.asp It seems to take about 10 seconds to load initially though.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:45, archived)
# nicely implemented!
but i find it strange that it takes so long to load. mine had more items in the directory to read, but loads almost instantly. it must be something to do with blueyonder (unless you've edited the code?)
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:49, archived)
# once it's initially loaded though
it's the sorting and random are quick. strange.

hooray that you've got a gallery! and that's it's sortable and randomizable!
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:52, archived)
# you know you said about moving your images and having to leave copies
well eclectech has got a php based 404 redirect thing set up so images can still use their original links if you move them to another folder or server.
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:55, archived)
# nice
piece of information. thanks for that.

i'm off to bed. goodnight!
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:56, archived)
# night.
How's work been btw?
(, Tue 4 Mar 2003, 23:59, archived)
# gah!
you caught me in an F5 trap! new job is really very good, and people seem like they'll be truly great to work with. i just have to make sure i live up to their expectations so they don't fire me and get someone better!
(, Wed 5 Mar 2003, 0:01, archived)
# it didn't work for me
I got a great appraisal for reading b3ta.

bare minimum for bare money.

# I only changed it to point to /images/
I did try at one point to get it to point to images on another bit of webspace. I'm happy to guess it's blueyonder.
