tilt the perspective of the back ground.. fill in gaps with clone tool.. give it a fancy white border.. or is there some fancy step I'm missing out :D

for one of the two items. Note the squirrel's tail
hides most of the reference plane. In this one...

Cat heads and table top look like different planes, but are not.
