# I did!

(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 0:51, archived)
# Would you stab me in the face if I said there were still a few bits down at the bottom?
Ignore me, I'm a perfectionist :P
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 0:54, archived)
# I've noticed this..
every time I edit it the gif encoding creates more bits...
Can't seem to fathom it. :S
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 0:57, archived)
# That's because there are tiny bits of almost-transparent parts you forgot to erase.
Each time you save it as a gif it becomes more opaque.
Stick a black background underneath in a new layer and you may be able to see them all.
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 0:59, archived)
# Yeah I did that
and they still came back :?
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:01, archived)
# Have you turned the opacity down on the eraser?
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:03, archived)
# Nah
I think I've cracked it now.
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:04, archived)
# Freehand selection ftw!
edit: Yeah, cracked it :D
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:06, archived)
# Cool :]
Well done.
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:06, archived)
# Isnt that quite easy to do?
just saying =P
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 0:59, archived)
# it's easy once you know how :P

but some subjects seem much better suited to the effect.
ta :)
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:10, archived)
# Hurrah! It is indeed great fun. Do from-one-to-another next.
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:15, archived)
# Yoinks!
yeah I can see how it's done... now to think it through...

# Pea'd another below.
Sourcing is 90% with dual images. As with
single ones too, but more so... 110% even. [/:-)

# Argh!
The perspectives!
*brain melts*
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:18, archived)
# I'm assuming make a new layer out of foreground object
tilt the perspective of the back ground.. fill in gaps with clone tool.. give it a fancy white border.. or is there some fancy step I'm missing out :D
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:24, archived)
# Nope, cheat like a bitch.
Select source images that minimize the true angle
for one of the two items. Note the squirrel's tail
hides most of the reference plane. In this one...

Cat heads and table top look like different planes, but are not.
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:29, archived)
# thats fucking awesome!
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:43, archived)
# Very nice
I MUST get tattyshop soon.
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:16, archived)
# Hmm...
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:43, archived)
# Yep. Make the corner in the back. Same image.
Then try one upish 'man from floor' etc and so on.
You've got the idea now. Play with it.

# Borders look a bit rough at this sort of rez...
(, Sat 27 Sep 2008, 1:53, archived)
# It's a pain, yes. My cat and mouse above has the...
same issues. Odd thing is, I made the Giraffe before it
and it took a bit to see how I avoided it. Really have
no choice but to do it at twice posting size and resize
after. Then clean up with the pixel tool any odd bits.
