# they're a bit wobbly
and if it's at all heavy the camera will fall over, probably. that said a wee tripod is dead handy as is a monopod,( if that's what a one legged tripod is called).
(, Sun 28 Sep 2008, 17:20, archived)
# i've got a monopod
i made it myself from a 1980s 3 legged tripod with 2 broken legs, by removing the legs and shoving a broken walking stick in the end :D
I would show you a picture of it but its on my old hd (with 12 years of stuff) which just crashed and burnt a day before i was going to back everything up :(

# has it gone completely tits up
i had one that my machine only saw as a raw data unformatted drive,if at all, i got hold of some recovery software, it found the 80g i knew was on there and it allowed me to copy everything.
(, Sun 28 Sep 2008, 17:29, archived)
# i've got the data recovery software... would you believe on that hard drive!
doh!
i think its more a recognition problem though, keeps wanting to format itself instead of letting me move the data i know is on there...
edit : hang on i can't read - sounds like we have the same problem :D
