oh, alright.
you will need:
2-3 slices of streaky bacon
1 small onion(optional)
1 sliced carrot
1 cup swiss vegetable bouillon
1 egg
knob of butter
pepper to taste
slice bacon into lardons. dice onion, if using. melt butter into a saucepan, add bacon, onions and carrots. stir well and cook until bacon is cooked, but not brown. add bouillon and bring to the boil. take pan off the heat. as soon as the soup has stopped bubbling, VERY GENTLY crack an egg into the middle of the soup. put the lid on the pan immediately. leave for 5 minutes, then serve.
