Hooray for old pictures indeed! :)
A while ago I posted this on /links pointing out it was humble old me that repaired that image from 1914 and a few others with a colleague.
The news coverage subsequently went ballistic and generated ZSL (and ultimately it's conservation efforts for wildlife) £2000 that Monday, and about £1000 a day for at least six weeks, and is still a healthy income generator.
That image of the tiger and bear cubs is still one of my favorites, and one of our top earners.
Today, as I was rummaging around in our photographic archives I came upon these lovely gems, obviously related to that image. I'm still working on repairing them, but they already look great:

Just thought I might share this with the wonderful b3ta before it all gets a bit commercial

Increasingly, given the amount of money i've been throwing at photography
It still make me chuckle when I pass a HUGE poster or public sign with something I photographed in use

Just think in 100 years time
you'll have your pics revived by someone and people will be saying. Yes see it's true! Humans once walked side by side with Pandas and Rhinos!

We are a charity unfortunately, otherwise I might be more systematic
for the time being it's simply a joy having access to wonderful animals , and inside their enclosures with some decent kit :)
