# i'm just recovering from a 3 and 1/2 week long chest infection
i can't walk down 14 steps without stopping to breathe... last time i got it i went to the dr and he said 'if it gets any worse call an ambulance' ...now thats confidence for you!
so i don't bother going to the drs for it now... useless twunts... immune system just takes a little longer to kick in

# my immune system goes all nutty
got a cold that is going about, but it just doesn't want to come on to a full blown cold. If it doesn't I will end up with a sinus infection, as I always do :(

# i don't normally get a runny nose / sore throat
i don't think i've caught a cold anyone else has, or one that is going around!
When the weather changes my lungs stop working and i can't breathe - apparently its a form of asthma according to my doctor... personally i think its a pile of bollocks but the inhalers do make me very light headed and very rarely actually help my breathing (shows how often i use them - the one from 2002 that went past its use by date in 2005 just ran out)

# sinus douche
mix 1 tsp salt with pint warm water, and suck up thru nose, let it run thru your mouth

clears it all out, not nice to do but works

/ENT surgeon mode off

# thank you Boff
I've been blowing my nose in warm water to prevent soreness (held in my hands over the sink) not a pretty site sight but it sure helps!
i'll try that when i've ran out of snot rags to blow my nose on :D (used equivalent of about 2 whole toilet rolls so far today)
