# I'm actually quite nervous today
I can remember the last election, being convinced Bush was finally out because he'd fucked so much up, was a laughing stock of the world, and most Americans seemed to accept that they needed rid.

But since then I've realised that it was never even likely, the US just has very different values for a president than we'd imagine. They want religion, moral reputability (and this isn't even close to the kind most of the world population think of as a definition) and change without changing anything. Like a child that wants to be seen as grown up now, but doesn't have the years/confidence to actually act it.

I'm hopeful though, it's all us non-Americans can be :)

Oh, sorry- LOL!1!!OHEMGEE MerKIN stereotypes taking piss

# Whatever your beliefs sir
I don't think it's fair to say that to run one of the world's superpowers you absolutely MUST believe in the Christian god, especially given how the Christian word has been misused so badly, and particularly in the country in question.
I'm certainly not suggesting that element alone disqualifies you, I'd hope you could see the distinction.

# Cheers
I worry too. What with the Bradley effect and all. Hope it doesn't come into effect and America isn't shown to be the bastion of hypocracy and latent racism that it can be sometimes.
