# I remember when War Hammer was War Hammer for real
Paint those little buggers, no uncle, no uncle, I don't want to paint them nude. I want to paint them how they should be and covered in BLLOOOOD

# Hehe I remember my older brother bought the boxed version of the Original
Warhammer game which had some plastic figures to get started with - although you had to buy the metal ones to build a proper army - but then it suddenly became really popular and they replaced the boxed version for the Books and you ahd to buy the figures seperate at something like £5 a pack of 4.

# any thing from the games workshop is a rip off
wow I want them, how much is it? *looks at price* £18 for 5 figures and an exploding Orc dong, sod that *throws at the guy behind the counter* *runs off* hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

# it's the little things like that
which have made them loved by many :)

no you little turd, you can't have a discount. The damn thing is all ready discounted, now either buy it or FUCK OFF
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 20:14, archived)
# No.
Playing gays of war would be ridiculous and mean that I could not play Fallout 3 23 hours a day.

# Gays of war, pfft.
Fallout 3 looks a bit glitzy and merkin for me though. Does it have weather there?
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 20:01, archived)
# The weather is dust.
Dust and radiation particles.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 20:03, archived)
# No it's not got weather effects
but it has a full daytime/night-time rotation
Weather annoys me personally and in games such as WOW I turn it down as much as possible.

You can't avoid the Americanisation as the whole premise of the Fallout story is a post apocalyptic America.
A lot of fallout fanboys don't like it, saying it's just Oblivion with guns. I personally don't see that as a problem as I think Oblivion is still one of the best games ever made.
There is no doubt that Fallout 3 will be game of the year come awards time.

# I'll look at some more in-game vids.
And get it if funds allow.

# what's the other hour spent doing
you gayer?

never played any of the fallouts or anything of that genre, but know a few people who've been creaming their pants over it so might look it up

# Been saving my money to perhaps buy Fable II
GoWII looks good as well as Dead Space - so many choices so little monies.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 19:53, archived)
# Nice.
I'm waiting for my friend to get it so we can co-op chainsaw some goddamn locusts or whatever the hell the bad guys are called.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 19:55, archived)
# Locust is correct
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 19:56, archived)
# Like it matters, anyway.
I don't think anyone plays Gears of War for its deep and compelling plot and character development.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 19:58, archived)
# i do :'(
Gears 2 has really worked on the storyline this time around
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 19:59, archived)
# It was the little things from Gears of War 1.
Well that and the massive things.

Like where were all the other people in a prison overrun by locusts, where was the entire rest of the army? Stuff like that.

# I liked the bits where you see the BOSS MONSTER in plain sight right in front of you
and yet you can't do anything to him, even when he's killing plot characters. Right in front of you. And you've been watching and staring at him this whole time.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 20:12, archived)
# "They're too strong. Let's go inside and kill something even bigger and more powerful instead."
(, Sun 9 Nov 2008, 20:15, archived)
# Don't forget to kick down the door to get inside.
Except for some reason this door can't be kicked down by your massive stompy powered boots and you have to summon the invisible invincible robot to do it for you.

Yeah. It's a game for chainsawing things up and blasting off heads, not for thinking about :D
