Thunderball was the best for me.but only because I have memories of my dad taking me to see it in the mid 70's when it got a re-run at our local flicks. The only other film my dad took me to see was Bambi.
So Thunderball may or may not have been any good but it was a rare occasion when my dad was not at sea so I recall it as good. ( It was good, I know, it had Connery in it )

it's a sadly underatted Bond is Thunderballon the back of Goldfinger, it's easy to understand why.
I'll even forgive Diamonds are Forever because it had Connery and Charles Gray in it, in

I was just expecting a lot more, I think.I thought Casino Royale was quite good, decent twists, and entertaining. I thought Quantum of Solace would be an attempt at being even better.
The action scenes appear to be shot by an ex-NYPD Blue cameraman, on a horse with Parkinson's.

This may not make any sense. I simply meant that key parts of the scene may or may not be visible for a millisecond or so, which means that if you blink, the scene is over, and you're never quite sure how he won the fight, you just know he did.
