# I reasearched 'Irony' on the interweb
but I'm still no wiser as to what defines something as ironic or merely unfortunate coincidence or just plain old sarcasm. So I tread lightly when I say something is ironic as it's a bit of a minefield full of pedant mines.

# Same as that
Wikipedia showed me that there were many different types of irony, none of which I could be bothered to read

*EDIT* Woo! now surely thats ironic!

# It's a tricky one.
Futurama taught me that irony is :

"The use of words expressing something other than their literal intention."

but I think, like any language, just use it in a way that is meaningful. Except irony, of course, which has to be the opposite, ironically.
