(i'm not officially allowed to tick the Dr. box on application forms until i've got the certificate, but the mark has been awarded already... it's still odd, I still find it more humourous than anything.)

I've considered things like this... but credit cards are beyond my financial reach, and i've just got a new passport.

I'm thinking I might be an outwardly humble doctor... not having it on cards or on my front door for example... but then just slip it into conversation now and then:
"Excuse me, mate, do you have a light?"
"Yes, here. I'm a Doctor by the way. PhD in psychology."
"I only wanted a light mate, please let go of my hand."
