hmmm destroy the island or just depopulate it?Depopulation is easy; a fairly easy distribution of anthrax and some smallpox and you're done. However if you want to use the island afterwards, you'll want something with a shorter lifespan. Ricin perhaps. A few bullets for the survivors and you're sorted.
To physically destroy an entire island is far more complex. With enough landmovers you could push it all into the sea and turn it in to a sandbar, perhaps.

I just don't want an island there. filling in the malacca strait seems to be the easiest solution at this point.
