Anybody know a good (free) way to split AVI files? Would appreciate any leads.

there is a split button on windows movie maker

edit : alternativly coffie cup do an animation program that splits frames off an avi file. you only get a 30 day trial so you will have to be quick.

but its actually pretty nifty... apart from they dont have a frame index or animated gif output.
