though this aspect is a little lame

There are a couple of flaws with it, like for instance some of the character movement isn't the best animation you'll ever see, but that just melts away when you start to play. It's ridiculously immersive, and the world itself it pretty much perfect.

the actors really don't look like they interact with the world at all sometimes.
that and where do some of the survivors get their russian and irish accents from? there haven't been any immigrants for 200 years!
also, there are a few bugs that i'll never be able to get fixed because its on xbox. like in big town where i can't repair the non-existant robots so the townsfolk are stuck staring at a scrap heap for all time. that broke the immersion a lil bit

There are a few bugs on the PC too; I'm still waiting for the slaves to turn up at the Lincoln Memorial, I think they may have been killed or gotten lost on the way. Apparently that's happened to other people too. But really, there's enough else to do that it doesn't matter. I'm still finding locations all the time... I just recently found the alien crash site so I have the alien weapon now. ALSO: I just made a shishkebab and they're great!
