bagpuss was alright when I was a wee lad, but it doesn't compare to He-Man, Gummi Bears, or indeed Thundercats. In fact, I doubt the clangers or bagpuss were even in my top ten as a kid. Maybe 26 is too young for being all "bagpuss was fucking genius".

Well I dunno.
Bagpuss wasn't my favourite thing growing up, but having seen it again over the last couple of years, along with The Clangers, it was extremely clever, yet simple and basic. There is a charm to them that none of the others listed had in my opinion.
