I saw the recent remake of "The Mist" the other night
1) watch it in black and white, it's WELL GOOD. (officially). 2) people are scum (still) 3) the ending is really quite harsh on the main character. Have you seen it?

It's dead harsh.
Brilliant, though.

the Steven King one?
I had a bit of a problem with the end -- it seemed ... abrupt. I thought the mental religio was very good.

'so she's one of your lot, then?'
'What, sane people? No.'

she did play "annoying mentalist religious lady" remarkably well
I hated her with a passion, and actually cheered her comeuppance.

So did I.
But it doesn't count, yeah, because she's not real.

doesn't count for what?
Are you and all your friends keeping a list of "comeuppances I have cheered (real)" or something similar?

I was making a joke
ie: I'm still a good little christian, as I only wish death on fictional characters. Never mind.

always*
*Although I went to see them because they are mine chums, rather than because they are mine favourite band, so whilst I had a good time and did enjoy the music, a more objective review might come from someone else.

It was surprisingly good, and the ending still delivered the 'shock' value
enjoyable enough indeed

I thoguht the only thing that could have improved the ending
was cutting out that bloody voice choir score and just have the silence of the mist.
