as a general rule of thumb pine cones point upwards, this is a blue spruce, Picea pungens, whereas fir trees have downward pointing cones.
always a handy thing to know.

and every year at school they'd play 6 as the christmas movie

5 (when it was 2 and on at the cinema)
6 (when it was 3 and on at the cinema)
Approx 10 year gap while they stopped just selling action figures and started making movies again.
1 (which was shit, so I've never watched 2 and 3 at the cinema)
Approx 20 year gap, then...
4, 5, 6 (when they were shown on TV just before Christmas)
I've still never seen 2 or 3!
