I just don't like this idea of rules. Rules hinder fun, no exceptions.

There are no rules here and everything works pretty well
except for this recent influx of spammers who wouldn't read the guidelines anyway.

There are rules
You can tell that because it's clear when someone breaks them. Like in this example.
Rules don't have to be written down.
