When you do this to your (brunette) missus for a laugh, and then you notice that you've got a blonde pube stuck under your fingernail.

It goes without saying don't do this at work...

Not that I'm at work... as Tesco's checkouts unfortunately do not have a 'b3ta' button next to the one with a picture of bananas.

...usually a bit darker than their head hair. Though some are fully blonde.
(I'm answering seriously because I am really not sure whether that was a real question and I don't want to take the piss out of you.)

What's so bad about me asking that you may need to take the piss?

No, I don't feel the need to take the piss at all, definitely!
But if you had been joking, I would have looked an idiot for falling for it. So I added the caveat that I was playing nicely because I wasn't sure whether you were setting us up for a comedy fall.
:EDIT: And if you HADN'T been doing that and I had given a glib response, it might have made you feel bad. I don't like doing that to people.

But I'd rather not assume anything one way or the other.
Incidentally, there is an expression about the "collar and cuffs" matching. Or the Americanised version, "Does the carpet match the drapes?" It's supposed to mean, "Is this person a fake blonde or real" since this is usually - but not always - obvious once the pants hit the deck.
Oh my god. I've just realised that this means you might never have seen a ginger person naked!

I just wasn't sure if the same kinda thing applied to blondes. I've had blonde friends who've told me theirs are dark brown like everyone else's before, you see.

Well, we're a big old genetic grab-bag and sometimes that's true.
Actually, come to think of it, I reckon it looks a bit odd when you have a really light blonde with dark pubes. But it does happen - it's just that it's a bit unexpected.
I should point out here that I'm not some lothario who spends their time cataloguing pube colours. It's just what I have noticed on my...er...travels.

...that you're probably fine as you are, Face.
No need to go out and large it just to see blonde parts.

Blonde hair on top, but underneath they have a black box.
