# hahahahaha!
excellent

Anyone else hear about ITV slashing local news?
Apparently a lot of the old regions are being merged so they can cut down on their local news costs, with OFCOMs approval.

This just a month or two after OFCOM fined them for not producing enough local programming...

and good riddance, too.

Edit: I do apologise for my brutality, but I despise ITV and everything it stands for.

# heheh
there's a woman on today who sounds like Johnny Vegas

I don't dare look, just in case she looks like him as well

# I can never quite work out how
ITV news and Channel 4 News bear so little qualitative relationship to one another.

It's a paradox.

# I once got interviewed
in the same day by BBC news and ITV. The BBC team were very nice and spent ages being perfectionists. The ITV team did it all in three minutes and said "Yeah, that'll do". It was like being interviewed by a group of builders after the beeb.

# Well, you could always murder him horribly
and see how it works out.

Just as an experiment.

# I
Would consider it a blessing to lose ITV (STV where I am) local news, it's almost entirely Rangers/Celtic (local football teams) and whatever they can reach from their Glasgow office without getting wet (even if it was raining), annoying and sh1t.
