i've posited this in debates with friends but i eventually decided i didn't like itif they keep decaying then all you have to do is just wait them out.

Provided you can get somewhere safe to wait it out,and have supplies and stuff then you're probably right. But nobody ever gets to that situation in the movies.

well it wouldn't make a great movie if they did would it :)land of the dead is set long enough after the original outbreak that you'd expect the majority to be decayed beyond threat.
though i don't consider that movie Romero canon. as they decay they get smarter... hmm..
