It is. A superhoop is triple-flanged 1.6mm and (IIRC) are only made by Pearl.
I couldn't find a decent picture of a Superhoop* so a generic one had to do. Pun still stands.

Me too :)
I have a six piece Yamaha 8000 in Cobham blue. Aquarian double thins, Iron cobra double pedal and various cymbals accumulated over the years including a 16" Sabian Virgil Donati Sig Crash. It's my pride and joy.

That's a really nice kit - Stage Customs have a really good reputation and I've owned a Pro Sonix Crash/Ride/Hats pack in the past and been impressed.
I only have a nice kit because I spent an entire term's student loan on the shell pack a couple of years ago in a too good to miss deal from a friend. I used to have a piecemeal kit that was all different drums bought on ebay for next to nothing.
I got all my cymbals and hardware on ebay by watching it like a hawk for good Buy it Nows.

Yeah I want a decent cymbal set then I'll be happy
AA's or something like that. But I got it for £350 off my uncle, and it was in basically new condition.
I'd Ideally love a DW set, but who wouldnt!

Aye, me too. I used to spend my time on a drum forum before here and the nicest kits I've ever seen are from a UK manufacturer called Highwood
