but I can never find nice enough tweed that isn't £40 a metre, almost.

I shall be satisfied if I can just make a riding jacket, as this year's resolution is to start riding again, as a friend's about to start a riding school and I wouldn't mind scuffling about outside teaching kids about horses.

I do have a couple of their bits and pieces, don't you worry. Them, Kiss Me Deadly and some original vintage pieces (like nylons, there's some in my drawer I won't let myself wear that are a good 60/70 years old)
